Critical Emergency & Medical Disclaimer
Look Workplace Counselling & Recovery provides scheduled, non-emergency outpatient counselling. We do not provide 24/7 crisis intervention or psychiatric emergency services. If you or someone you know is experiencing acute suicidal ideation, psychosis, or imminent risk of self-harm:
- Australia: Call 000 or present to the nearest hospital Emergency Department. Call Lifeline on 13 11 14 or Suicide Call Back Service on 1300 659 467.
- United States / Canada: Call 911 or call/text 988.
- United Kingdom: Call 999 or call 111.
1. Scope of Telehealth Services
By accessing l.ook.ac and utilizing our patient portal, you acknowledge that telehealth consultations require a reliable internet connection and a secure, private physical environment on your end. The practitioner reserves the right to suspend a session if privacy or client safety cannot be ensured.
2. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Missed Sessions
To ensure equitable scheduling for all clients, the following cancellation terms apply:
- 48+ Hours Notice: Appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled without incurring a fee.
- 24 to 48 Hours Notice: Cancellations made within this window will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- Less than 24 Hours or Non-Attendance: Same-day cancellations and missed consultations incur the full (100%) session fee. Rebates cannot be claimed on unattended sessions.
3. Telehealth Recording Policy
To preserve complete psychological safety and confidentiality, unauthorized audio or video recording of consultations by any party is strictly prohibited. Any breach of this clause constitutes grounds for immediate termination of therapeutic services.
4. Intellectual Property & Educational Materials
All recovery protocols, clinical worksheets, diagnostic questionnaires, and written literature published on ook.ac and l.ook.ac remain the exclusive intellectual property of Look Workplace Counselling & Recovery. Content may not be redistributed for commercial purposes without prior written authorization.
5. Governing Law
These terms and all therapeutic engagements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia.
Independent Clinical Practitioners
Look Workplace Counselling & Recovery provides administrative, scheduling, and encrypted telehealth infrastructure. All counselling, psychological recovery programs, and clinical consultations are provided by independent practitioners who maintain their own professional registrations, insurance, and clinical governance.
